Art News: Banksy Prints 2026, Prices and Results So Far
By Whitebank Fine Art
Banksy's prints have had a strong but uneven 2026. Signed impressions of Girl with Balloon made more than £200,000 twice in September, a signed artist's proof of Kate Moss made about double the usual price for the image in June, and Applause set a record in March, only to sell for under a third of that three months later. Here is a summary of the year so far.

Banksy, Girl with Balloon, 2004, screenprint. Still the most valuable of his prints in 2026.

What the year tells us
Girl with Balloon still leads. Signed impressions made $332,800 and £204,800 on the same day in September, and unsigned ones £90,000 at the hammer in March and £109,650 with fees in September. The signed edition of 150 is worth roughly twice the unsigned edition of 600.
Proofs and colourways are priced on their own. The Kate Moss artist's proof at £179,200 compares with £80,000 to £95,000 for the standard signed edition.

A record is not the new price. Applause, which had usually traded at £20,000 to £30,000, made £96,000 at the hammer in March. In June another impression made £28,380, back in its usual range. One result, however striking, does not reset the value of every print of the same image.
Most prints sit between £10,000 and £40,000. Rude Copper, Flying Copper, Love Is in the Air, Applause and Morons all sold in that band in June, which is where the great majority of Banksy prints are traded.

The headline originals do not move prints. A canvas made $17.94 million in New York in May and Keep Ou T made £1.6 million in London in October, but a screenprint is priced off what the same image, in the same edition and condition, has made recently. Our Banksy 2026 round-up covers the originals.
If you own a Banksy print
Every Banksy print needs a certificate from Pest Control, his authentication body, before an auction house will sell it, and condition matters as much as the image: fading, toning and trimmed margins all cost money. To see what yours might make, start with the Banksy price guide, the price calculator or our guide to each print, and how to sell a Banksy compares the routes to market.
If you own a Banksy print and are thinking of selling, send us photographs for a free valuation. There is no obligation to sell, and we act for you rather than for the saleroom.
