Selling a Damien Hirst HENI print

HENI has published Hirst's prints since 2016. Below is every series and every title, so you can find yours and see what a buyer will ask about it.

Damien Hirst (born 1965) is the artist HENI is best known for. Its Hirst releases run from the Enter the Infinite tapestries of 2016 to The Emotions and American Dream in 2026, and each was sold for a short window by application or direct order. Once a window closes, the only way to buy is from another owner.

HENI gives every series a code, H1 to H21, and every print a number within it. The code is on the label and the paperwork, and it is the quickest way to tell us exactly what you have.

Before you sell

Find the code and number
The series code (H9, H13 and so on) and the print's number tell us the title, the size and how the edition was issued. They are on the label and on your HENI paperwork.
Check the edition size
Some HENI Hirst editions were fixed in advance; others, such as The Emotions, were limited by demand during the window, so their size was only known once it closed. Scarcity sets the resale price, so a buyer will ask.
Photograph the back
Many HENI Hirst prints are signed and numbered on a printed label on the reverse, not in pencil on the front. That is correct for those editions, and it is the view that answers a buyer's first question.
Look after the surface
Glossy and textured surfaces show handling marks that cannot be put right. Do not clean, reframe or open anything before it has been seen. Photograph it as it is.

Common questions

How do I sell a Damien Hirst HENI print?

Send photographs of the front, the label on the back and your HENI paperwork. We identify the series and title, tell you what the market is paying for it, and compare the routes: auction, a private sale to a collector or gallery, or HENI's own resale service for its past releases.

My print is signed on a label, not on the front. Is that right?

Yes, for many HENI editions. The Emotions, for example, is hand signed on the label by Hirst. What matters is that the inscriptions match the way the edition was issued.

Which HENI Hirst prints are easiest to sell?

It depends on the title, the size of its edition and its condition rather than the series alone. Large editions released recently can take time to settle in price, so it is worth asking before you set a figure.

Do you handle the Triple Trouble prints with Invader and Fairey?

Yes. InvadHirst, The Hope Paintings, Third Eye Butterfly Mandala, Invaded and Commanded Blossom and Troubled Waters all reach collectors of more than one artist, and we sell them the same way.
