Selling an Invader print
Invader's HENI editions run from Rubik's Cube images to prints made with Damien Hirst and Shepard Fairey, and each was issued differently.
Invader, the French street artist born in 1969, has fixed his tiled Space Invaders to walls in more than 30 countries since 1998. Collectors who will never own a mosaic buy his prints, and the market for them is international.
HENI has published his editions since 2023, alone and with Hirst and Fairey around the Triple Trouble exhibition at Newport Street Gallery (October 2025 to March 2026). The first thing to establish before you sell is how your edition was issued.

Before you sell
- Find out how big the edition is
- Troubled Waters has a fixed edition of 200. Rubikcubism and InvadHirst were limited by demand during the window, so their size was only known once it closed. Scarcity sets the resale price, so it is the first fact a buyer wants.
- Check where it is signed
- InvadHirst is signed in pencil on the front. Rubikcubism and Troubled Waters are signed on the label. Both are correct for their editions, so photograph the front and the back.
- Plan for the weight
- A Diasec panel of 13.5 kg needs proper crating. Shipping and insurance are a real part of the cost of selling, and they help decide which route makes sense.
- Keep the HENI paperwork
- The order confirmation and anything that came with the print are its provenance. Keep them with it.
Common questions
Is my Invader print a HENI edition?
HENI's Invader editions carry codes (NVDR1 for Rubikcubism, NVDR2 for Camouflage, TT for the Triple Trouble prints) and came with HENI order paperwork. Invader has also released prints through other channels, documented differently. Send photographs and we will tell you which you have.
There is no signature on the front of my Rubikcubism print.
That is correct. The Rubikcubism prints are signed and numbered on the label, as HENI described them at release.
Do the prints with Hirst and Fairey sell differently?
They reach collectors of each artist involved, which can widen the pool of buyers. A buyer will still ask about the edition size, the condition and the paperwork.
Where can I sell an Invader print?
At auction, privately through a collector or gallery, or through HENI's own resale service for its past releases. We are independent of all three and can compare them for your print.
Whitebank Fine Art is an art advisory and gallery. It is not affiliated with HENI, the artists, their studios or any auction house. Titles and edition details are as HENI published them. Nothing here is investment advice.
