What a work by Camille Henrot is worth
Send photographs and whatever paperwork came with it. The first question is what the work actually is — edition or unique, when, and in what condition — because everything else follows from the answer. A valuation is free, made online from the photographs you send, and it commits you to nothing. We act for sellers across the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Bio
Camille Henrot was born in Paris in 1978 and studied film animation at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She lives and works in New York City. Her practice takes in drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and film, and draws on literature, poetry, cartoons, social media, self-help and everyday life. Her film Grosse Fatigue, made during a fellowship at the Smithsonian Institution, won the Silver Lion at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013. The installation The Pale Fox opened at Chisenhale Gallery in London in 2014 and travelled to Copenhagen, Paris, Münster and Tokyo, and in 2017 the Palais de Tokyo in Paris gave her carte blanche for the exhibition Days Are Dogs. She has also made watercolours, ceramics and bronze sculptures, among them the bronzes of Monday, shown at Fondazione Memmo in Rome. She received the Nam June Paik Award in 2014 and the Edvard Munch Award in 2015. Hauser & Wirth and Mennour represent her.
Her unique works include drawings and watercolours on paper, paintings, and sculpture in bronze and ceramic. For a bronze, ask whether it belongs to an edition, and check the number and the foundry mark. Works on paper fade and cockle in strong light and damp, so check the sheet carefully. A gallery invoice and the date of the work should go with it.
