What a work by Jethro Buck is worth
Send photographs and whatever paperwork came with it. The first question is what the work actually is — edition or unique, when, and in what condition — because everything else follows from the answer. A valuation is free, made online from the photographs you send, and it commits you to nothing. We act for sellers across the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Bio
Jethro Buck was born in Oxford in 1986 and studied fine art at Falmouth College of Arts from 2005 to 2008. He went on to study traditional painting methods, including Indian miniature painting under Ajay Sharma, and took a master's degree at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts in London. His paintings are finely worked landscapes in which trees recur again and again, made with natural pigments that he grinds by hand and with the techniques of the miniature tradition. He works from a studio in Hackney Wick, in east London, and the Royal Collection holds his Row of Trees, painted in natural pigments on paper.
His works are unique paintings, often small and on paper, and natural pigments are sensitive to light and damp, so framing and condition matter. A gallery invoice and the date of the work are the first things a buyer asks for.
