What a work by Flora Yukhnovich is worth

Send photographs and whatever paperwork came with it. The first question is what the work actually is — edition or unique, when, and in what condition — because everything else follows from the answer. A valuation is free, made online from the photographs you send, and it commits you to nothing. We act for sellers across the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Bio

Flora Yukhnovich was born in Norwich in 1990 and studied portraiture at the Heatherley School of Fine Art from 2010 to 2013, then took an MA at City and Guilds of London Art School in 2017. Her paintings take the compositions and colour of French and Italian Rococo painting, Boucher, Fragonard, Watteau and Tiepolo, and dissolve them into large, loose, near-abstract canvases of pinks, blues and creams, crossed with references to modern ideas of taste and femininity. She had her first solo show in London in 2017 and a solo exhibition at Victoria Miro in Venice in 2019. In 2024 the Wallace Collection showed her work alongside François Boucher, and her Four Seasons were shown at the Frick Collection in New York in 2025 and 2026.

Her paintings began to appear at auction in 2021. Most are placed by her galleries with museums and collectors, so provenance through them is the first question, and works on paper are rarer than the paintings.

Norwich, the Wallace Collection and the Frick

Flora Yukhnovich and François Boucher: The Language of the Rococo was at the Wallace Collection in 2024, and the Ordrupgaard museum near Copenhagen showed Into the Woods the same year.

The Government Art Collection owns her painting Imagination, Life is Your Creation.
