Alma Singer valuation

Alma Singer is the working name of Carla Nizzola, an artist based in Kent. The work is playful and pointed, circling questions of value, art, identity and female sexuality, often through short, direct phrases set against appropriated imagery. The prints are published by Jealous Gallery and Print Studio in London.
Prints and editions make up most of what circulates — archival inkjet prints, often finished with a screenprinted varnish, on Somerset Satin paper. Edition size, variant and signature are what separate one sheet from another, and any hand-finishing should be noted. Varnished and coated surfaces mark easily, so they should be framed with the glazing held off the surface.
